Extended Benefits Coverage

Many extended benefits plans cover the services of a Registered Clinical Counsellor — please check your plan to make sure, as some specify only Registered Psychologists or Social Workers.

We are registered with Telus eClaims for direct billing. Check this table to see whether your insurance plan is eligible for direct billing. Clients are responsible for any co-pay amounts not covered by direct billing.

Anyone not eligible for direct billing through this will need to pay out of pocket, and submit receipts for reimbursement.

Occasionally plans will also cover sessions with a student who is working under supervision of an RCC, but this is the exception — please double check. If this is important to you, we may be able to provide you with a letter to submit to your insurance plan for consideration.

Cancellation Policy

We require 48 hours notice in order to cancel or change appointments. Clients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment without notice, will be charged the full session fee. Clients who provide more than 24 hours but less than 48 hours notice will be charged half the session fee.

Payment Policy

Payment is due on the day of your appointment. E-transfers are preferred (to payments@bodymindcounselling.ca) but credit cards are also accepted. We collect credit card information through JaneApp for all clients, and any outstanding amounts owing will be charged to your card the week following your appointment if an e-transfer has not been received.
